Slow Sex: The Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm by Nicole Daedone

We would like to congratulate Nicole Daedone, OneTaste Founder, for her success in teaching workshops on sexuality and relationships, and for the advances she is making in modern culture through Orgasmic Meditation. In May 2011, she released her first book Slow Sex: The Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm, a guide to more intimate, even spiritual, sex.

Nicole Daedone Slow Sex Author and FounderIt is our pleasure to watch the practice of Deliberate Orgasm expand into more aspects of the culture and into the media. The Slow Sex Movement that Nicole Daedone is cultivating, especially through the spread of the Orgasmic Meditation practice, is to be commended and celebrated.

We celebrate Nicole's dedication to spreading the basic principles of Deliberate Orgasm which she has incorporated into OM (Orgasmic Meditation), blended with the practice of meditation and eastern philosophy.

Her female orgasm technique is derived from the training she received in Deliberate Orgasm from the Welcomed Consensus. In addition, both Robert Kandell and Ken Blackman, also former students and graduates in the Welcomed Method of Deliberate Orgasm, teach with Nicole at OneTaste.

Here is an excerpt Nicole wrote while attending courses and training with the Welcomed Consensus:

March, 2000
"I value these three days more than any other (excluding graduation) with respect to having what I want, learning the information that I have been hungry for and having fun, feeling love.

Thank you Welcomed Consensus for... your superb coaching. Even the way that you coached taught me.

This course got my orgasm back on track. I thought about calling it the R and D course - researching orgasm / developing character. Thank you -

Thank you most of all for my name - it's working!"

Nicole’s description of Slow Sex and Orgasmic Meditation:

Is slow sex about the time you put into it?
"No, it’s three ingredients. The first is developing attention. Our minds get locked into this goal to have an orgasm, and we just go, go, go. The next is simplicity. Most of the techniques I’ve seen are all about adding stuff to your sex life. Slow sex is about stripping it down to pure sensation. Lastly, cultivating desire. When men ask women what they want, 98 percent of the time, they don’t know what to say. It’s like there’s a shame for desire. I remember the first time I gave a man instruction. You know, move a little to the left, try this, try that. I was afraid I was going to hurt his feelings, but I didn’t. It’s actually a noble thing to say what you want and how you want it, get it, and feel successful."
